The man who laughs

I finished the Joker and the Asker last night, as well as the heavy weapons for the Kiwis:
The Joker originally had fish in his hands, so I swapped these out for pistols.
Bricks and Mortar
Vickers MMG
Light mortar for the HQ section
And just a call out to any Welsh readers to say 'hooray!' The victory over England at the Rugby World Cup was a gutsy effort that had me on the edge of my seat. I would dearly love an All Blacks-Welsh final. If New Zealand (because I am a parochial, one-eyed Kiwi) can't win the World Cup, there is no other nation I would rather see take it home.

  1. I really like the diorama-like heavy weapons bases.
    Very nifty work!

    1. Thanks Jonathan. I was inspired by the way Sidney Roundwood does his bases. I have a little way to go to get them up to his standard though.

    1. Thanks Rodger. I always support the underdog - unless it's the All Blacks playing. Then I hope for a faultless performance and 100+ points. Doesn't seem to be happening this world cup.

    1. Merci Phil. And I wouldn't mind if France won. Just not Aussie, South Africa or England. They've already had a go (yes I am aware of the hypocrisy of wanting the All Blacks to win a third World Cup when I say that).

    1. Thanks Michael. Not quite up there with your Penguin crew, but I'll put a lot more work into the figures if I upgrade to Knight Models.

  5. Lovely work on the Joker "Heroclix" mini, and a nice conversion replacing his Jokerfish with pistols. I can't believe you've successfully managed to get his eyebrows painted!! You won't be seeing them when I post up my one :-)

  6. Nice work on those squaddies, and the Joker and his mate look suitably scary!

And I hold no great hopes for the Wallabies, BTW...

    1. Thanks Evan. And the Wallabies look like they are peaking at the right time... a number of people are predicting that they will be there in the final.
