I haven't had much time to paint in the last month, so here are the completed Cossack Riflemen (pre-deceased) for the Imperial Cossack Company.
Urrah! We're not Sand People anymore!
These are Musketeer Miniatures World War One Russians in Greatcoat, and they are very nice models. I've pictured them with Colonel Razin to show how well they fit in with the Artizan figures.
Back of Beyond is a temptation. But having painted these guys I'm also wondering about Early WWI on the Eastern Front. But I better stop - my painting schedule is already backing up for the next decade!
Nice figures. You did a fine job on the grey of the greatcoats. They would be useful for all sorts of things, including pulp.

DeleteExcellent paintbrush!
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil.
DeleteLooking good, maybe they can change Razin's bad luck by not being Sand people
ReplyDeleteMaybe. But really, how many times can one character roll a '1' on a D10? The odds would have to be astronomical...
DeleteVery nice job Nate
ReplyDeleteCheers Scott.
DeleteNice job they look excellent and mix well.
ReplyDeleteI have some back of beyond armies that I have been thinking about for ihmn. Need a mad monk though.
ReplyDeleteStalwart chaps what! I expect that IHMN would convert pretty readily to the Back of Beyond milieu.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Craig
Very nice figures - I've been thinking about getting some of these. Thanks for sharing.
